Spirit Halloween: The Movie teaser reveals Christopher Lloyd haunting a Spirit Halloween store

It appears that plastic blades and doubtful Cher wigs aren't the just scaries found within a Spirit Halloween store.

The pop-up shop launched the teaser trailer for its approaching scary movie, Spirit Halloween: The Movie, available on-demand Oct. 11. Inning accordance with the synopsis, a team of kids conceal inside a Spirit Halloween store until it shuts with the wishes of enjoying an evening of mischief and experience. Sadly for them, the store is also inhabited by an "upset evil spirit" (Christopher Lloyd) that has everything inside the store — consisting of some creepy personalities — and it does not appear to enjoy the kids' company.



The teaser is producing huge Nickelodeon meets Stranger Points and The Goonies feelings, many thanks to the spunky gang of youngster celebrities, scary mystery, and Rachel Leigh Cook (She's All That) — that is totally offering an '80s-esque Winona Ryder. However the family-friendly movie might not give gorehounds the bloodfest they're expecting, its campy idea definitely looks like something well worth watching with a team of friends (ideally after a couple of containers of wine).

Spirit Halloween: The Movie is guided by David Poag and written by Billie Bates. The movie also celebrities Marla Gibbs, Donovan Colan, Marissa Reyes, Jaiden J. Smith, Dylan Martin Frankel, and Brad Carter. The movie was produced by Hideout Photos and Particular Group.

For anybody that does not know, Spirit Halloween is a chain of pop-up stores that hunkers down in deserted retail structures every year, selling everything from outfits to fake blood and also cups with Freddy Krueger's face on it. They've become such an essential component of Halloween that visiting one is a yearly custom for many.
